But no adventure excites me as much as helping entrepreneurs turn their vision into leads. And the joy that marketers radiate when their projects exceed expectations; that’s addictive. There’s a formula to great copywriting – it’s not a secret. It’s both art and science. And if you want to get your message across convincingly, simply become an expert or work with one.
I’ve invested 10 curious years in this industry and I’ve met some of the most extraordinary people, whom I now regard as friends. The learning never ends and results are inevitable.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media and Writing from the University of Cape Town, as well UCT Certificates for Small Business Management and Digital Copywriting. I’ve also been lucky enough to receive non-fiction writing mentorship from Penguin Random House, the world’s largest general-interest paperback publisher.
